Cannelle et Vanille (translated from French is Cinnamon and Vanilla) is a fantastic gluten-free blog by Aran Goyoaga, a Basque ex-pat living in the U.S. since 1998.
Aran is a mother, a freelance writer, stylist, and photographer. Her blog is simply a journal of her daily life.
While Aran isn’t a diagnosed celiac, all of her recipes are gluten-free. Her reasoning for this is that she has Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis and Meniere’s Disease, both autoimmune disorders — after researching this on her own, she discovered that a gluten-free diet is beneficial in the treatment of autoimmune conditions. After adopting a gluten-free lifestyle in 2009, she discovered through testing that she had genetic gluten sensitivity. She is dedicated to staying gluten-free for the rest of her life. With recipes like hers, I doubt that it would be a very difficult task.
