I recently had the opportunity to try the full product line of chips from Food Should Taste Good® and all that I can say is, Wow!
I’m not usually one to embrace chips of any kind, but as far as chips go, these are the ones to eat. Whether you like a simple corn chip or something a little more on the gourmet side like Sweet Potato, Olive, Lime, or even Chocolate, Food Should Taste Good is bound to have a flavor you will love. I love the fact that the flavor doesn’t hit you over the head like some of the mainstream supermarket chips that we’re all used to. They have a beautiful subtle flavor that doesn’t overwhelm your taste buds and works well with your favorite dips. They have a great feature on their Website offering “Recommended Accompaniments” for every flavor of their chips and which salsas and dips to use with each one. I would not have had a clue as to what to use with the chocolate chips, but their recommendations were Apple Butter and Strawberries and Balsamic — both of those worked great.
The great news about these chips other than the obvious fact that they are gluten-free, is that they are made with natural ingredients: Stone Ground Corn, High Oleic Sunflower Oil and/or Safflower Oil, Sweet Potato, Corn Bran, Evaporated Cane Juice, Sea Salt (ingredients listed are for the Sweet Potato flavor). They are also Kosher (OU), low sodium, trans fat free, lactose free, cholesterol free, low in sodium, not genetically modified and a good source of dietary fiber.
These chips really raise the bar for tortilla chips and are a great choice for parties and the occasional snack. My only concern with a product like this is that you might just overdo it and eat way too many.
Be sure to check out the Food Should Taste Good Website as well as their Facebook page for special offers and giveaways.
Flavors Available: Multigrain, Jalapeño, Olive, Chocolate, The Works!, Sweet Potato, Lime, Yellow Corn, Cheddar, Blue Corn, White Cheddar, Blue Dipping Chips, White Corn Dipping Chips
