Grain-Free Granola from The Food Lovers Kitchen
Granola for me is one of the most satisfying snacks or even meals that I could eat. By itself or with some Greek yogurt, it’s so fulfilling and if done right, a really healthy option when I need something fast. When I say fast, I’m talking about having it made already and stored, not making it for each meal. It would be great to be able to buy this in a package, but the unfortunate fact is that that nearly all of the store-bought brands are full of sugar, corn, rice, soy, and in some cases HFCS. While you might be thinking that corn, rice, and soy are gluten-free, you would be correct. But these ingredients aren’t doing you any favors and in many cases may even be hurting you. Here are some good sources of information that sum up how I feel about grains:

Now onto the recipe for a fantastic Grain-Free Granola from The Food Lovers Kitchen. I could eat any one of these ingredients by themselves or even better all together as they’ve done in this granola. There are none of the usual suspects in terms of unhealthy ingredients found in most of the store-bought gluten-free options out there. It’s just really basic healthy ingredients put together with both your health and of course taste in mind. It doesn’t get any better than that.
Our version of granola combines dehydrated nuts, coconut, and fruit. This is our primal version of a breakfast cereal, and also makes for a great snack when you’re on the go.
