As she points out, pizza is one of the first things that newly diagnosed celiacs look to and wonder if they’ll ever be able to eat it again. While there are many store-bought options that vary greatly in quality and price, many pizza chains offering gluten-free crusts — also varying greatly in quality and price — there is no comparison to making your own from scratch. Yes, it’s a little more work, but it’s something that pays off handsomely in the end.
