It’s been well over 100º for the last couple of days here in the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles (with no relief in sight). It’s a good enough reason to post more popsicle recipes — this is my second one in as many days. As I’ve said before, me and my kids love making popsicles with just about every imaginable ingredient. Yogurt or kefir are very high on the list of favorites and this recipe for Tricolored Berry & Kefir Popsicles from The Nourished Kitchen looks like a perfect treat for a day as hot as today.

“I love the Fourth of July: fireworks, parades, barbecues and apple pie contests. I love it all, and do my best to prepare special and celebratory picnics for the day.
